Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join a technology-driven insurance company located in Durham, NC through a hybrid work schedule. The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will assist at an expert level in all areas within the policy administration system. 

Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) include: 

• Collaborate with the development team to define and shape system requirements, driving the design and optimization of cutting-edge IT solutions 
• Take ownership of maintaining dynamic, detailed documentation, ensuring all system updates are thoroughly captured and easily accessible 
• Conduct data analysis, generate reports, and support integration of systems such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, and Salesforce with enterprise tools   

Qualifications for the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) include: 

• 5+ years of experience working within IT in applications support, software or database development, or requirement gathering 
• Expertise in SQL, with the ability to leverage data to drive insights and optimize project outcomes 
• Proven experience working closely with development teams, managing complex tasks, and turning challenges into opportunities for innovation 
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field, providing a solid foundation to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. 
• Must work onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) in Durham, NC 
• Must be eligible to work in the United States 

Compensation for the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) include: 

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000, Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) 
• Comprehensive benefit package; Blue Cross & Blue Shield Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
