Network Firewall Engineer

Piper Companies is searching for an experienced Network Firewall Engineer in a remote role working EST hours. The ideal Network Firewall Engineer will have extensive experience in deploying and configuring Cisco ASA Firewalls / Firepower in a customer-facing post-sales role.

Responsibilities for the Network Firewall Engineer:

• Deploy and configure ASA Firewalls / Firepower solutions for various enterprise clients, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Provide post-sales support to customers through adoption, addressing their technical issues and concerns related to ASA Firewalls and/or Firepower.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and design customized solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in network security and ASA Firewall technologies.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures for internal and client use.

Qualifications for the Network Firewall Engineer:

• 3-5 years' experience as a Network Engineer
• Proven experience in deploying and configuring firewalls in a customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Security is a plus
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.

Compensation for the Network Firewall Engineer:

• Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays.
