Biomedical Linear Specialist II

Piper Companies is currently seeking an experienced Biomedical Linear Specialist II in Allentown, PA to work for a highly reputable Hospital Network. 

Responsibilities for the Biomedical Linear Specialist II

• Performs preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
• Manages databases, maintaining accurate records of devices and work orders.
• Diagnoses and repairs equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime. Sources parts, supplies, and technical materials for cost-effective maintenance.
• Repairs defective equipment and trains technicians on proper servicing.
• Evaluates and oversees work performed by external service providers.

Qualifications for the Biomedical Linear Specialist II

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or advanced service school certification.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linear Accelerator imaging or biomedical equipment maintenance.
• Strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing medical imaging equipment, and prioritizing scheduled maintenance.
• Ability to responds to service requests, assesses issues, and monitor recalls and safety alerts.

Compensation for the Biomedical Linear Specialist II

• Salary Range: $60-70/HR. 
• Direct Hire Permanent
