Quality Control Manager

Piper Health and Sciences is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to support an innovative and reputable Biologics Quality Control Testing company in Wayne, PA.

Responsibilities for the Quality Control Manager

·       Serve as lead scientist and SME for new and ongoing NGS assay applications and resources.

·       Oversee a team of scientists and study managers, guiding experimental design and execution.

·       Allocate laboratory personnel for regulated client studies.

·       Ensure adherence to global regulatory guidelines and standards.

·       Keep detailed records of assay development, execution, and study data.

·       Develop and update SOPs, laboratory records, and technical reports.

Technical Requirements for the Quality Control Manager

·       PhD in a scientific/technical field with 3+ years of relevant experience OR MA/MS in a scientific/technical field with 6+ years of relevant experience.

·       Extensive knowledge of molecular biology, sequencing techniques, and laboratory practices.

·       Proven experience in managing technical projects and studies in molecular biology and sequencing.

·       Skilled in leading and supervising lab staff, particularly in a GxP environment.

Compensation & Benefits for the Quality Control Manager

·       Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 annually

·       Direct Hire/Permanent
