Clinical Operations Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to join a leading organization within the clinical research industry for a fully remote permanent position. The Clinical Operations Manager will provide operational leadership across multiple clinical studies, ensuring trial execution aligns with quality standards, timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements while supporting cross-functional collaboration in a global research environment.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Operations Manager include:

· Lead the day-to-day operational oversight of clinical trials from study start-up through closeout, ensuring key milestones are achieved.

· Collaborate with internal teams, sponsors, vendors, and investigative sites to support efficient study execution and issue resolution.

· Monitor study performance metrics, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while identifying and addressing operational risks.

· Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry guidelines, study protocols, and internal standard operating procedures.

· Support the development and implementation of process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and overall study delivery.

Qualifications for the Clinical Operations Manager include:

· Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

· 5+ years of clinical research experience with at least 2 years in a clinical operations leadership, management, or study management role.

· Strong understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA regulations, and global clinical trial processes.

· Experience overseeing CROs, vendors, and cross-functional clinical teams across multiple studies.

· Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

· Experience utilizing CTMS, EDC systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation for the Clinical Operations Manager:

Salary Range: $165,000-$185,000/year (USD)
