Director of IT

Piper Companies is seeking a Director of IT to join a trusted leader advancing the future of medicine for a remote position. The Director of IT will be overseeing IT for the central service department.

Responsibilities of the Director of IT include:

• Ensure the organization's IT systems, networks, and data storage are robust, reliable, and secure, adhering to regulatory requirements like HIPAA and GDPR.
• Develop and implement long-term IT strategies aligned with the company’s goals, particularly those supporting clinical trials and data management.
• Maintain and improve software and systems for managing clinical trial data, electronic data capture, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the IT team, manage budgets, and collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services.

Qualifications for the Director of IT include:

• At least 5 years of infrastructure leadership experience overseeing project delivery infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Cloud, CI/CD and Ansible or chef.
• Experience managing a team of at least 4 people across different locations.
• Experience with disaster recovery and some security remediation.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

 Compensation for the Director of IT:

• Salary Range: $150,000-$160,000 /year plus bonus
