Audit and Compliance Manager

Piper Companies is seeking an Audit and Compliance Manager to join a global leader in biopharmaceutical innovation, offering a dynamic environment where you can contribute to cutting-edge quality auditing projects for a hybrid contract position based in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC). The Audit and Compliance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the global audit team during a period of increased project volume. This position will focus on audit data management, coordination, and performance monitoring while ensuring timely execution of audit processes across multiple regions.

Responsibilities of the Audit and Compliance Manager include:

• Import, transcribe, and manage audit information in Veeva QMS, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth workflows.
• Handle U.S.-specific REMS processes, transcribing information and coordinating compliance efforts.
• Track metrics to ensure timely engagement with all elements of the global audit process.
• Support auditors across multiple regions (Europe, U.S., Japan) by facilitating communication and managing audit-related tasks.

Qualifications for the Audit and Compliance Manager include:

• 1–2 years of experience in audit processes, with a solid understanding of supporting audit procedures.
• Familiarity with REMS and pharmacovigilance (PV) processes is highly desirable.
• Experience in data management and systems like Veeva QMS or other quality management platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Pharma or CRO background is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a global team structure and manage multiple priorities across regions.

 Compensation for the Audit and Compliance Manager:

• Salary Range: $57-$67 /hour
