Hardware Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a Hardware Engineer for a start up company located in Saratoga, CA. The Hardware Engineer will be helping to deliver the best quality and power efficiency using cutting edge serdes technology. The Hardware Engineer will need to sit on site 5 days per week in Saratoga, CA.

Responsibilities for the Hardware Engineer:

• Write hardware specifications and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Utilize Cadence/Allegro for schematic capture.
• Collaborate with ASIC teams for hardware bring-up.
• Debug hardware issues in the lab using analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Requirements for the Hardware Engineer:

• Bachelor’s in electronic or computer engineering required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in system-level development, preferably within the server, computer, or network industries.
• Proficient in 100G+ Ethernet and high-speed SerDes interfaces (56/112/224G), with a solid understanding of high-speed design and signal integrity.
• Expert experience in board systems/PCB

Compensation for the Hardware Engineer:

• $210,000 - $325,000
