Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI with CI Poly)

Piper Companies is hiring a Data Center Engineer with an Active TS/SCI with CI Poly for a large company located in Herndon, VA. The Data Center Engineer will need to have strong experience in Linux, Networking, Storage and Virtualization. The Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI CI Poly) will need to sit on site in RTP, NC 5 days per week.

Responsibilities for the Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI CI Poly):

• Ensure compliance with NISPOM and ICD Guidelines
• Assist in the creation and management of System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) documentation, as well as assist with the accreditation process of systems
• Work closely with the team to build and support secure computing environments

Requirements for the Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI CI Poly):

• Must possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI with a CI Poly
• Experience working on contracts mandating DIACAP, NISPOM, and ICD requirements
• Strong experience with Linux, Networking, Storage and Virtualization (VMWare)
• Experience performing routine network administration
• Skilled in system patching and vulnerability remediation
• DoD 8570 Certification: CISSP, Security+, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, GSE

Compensation for the Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI CI Poly):

• $120,000 - $165,000 depending on experience
