Piper Companies is seeking a Principal Data & Integration Architect to join an established healthcare organization. This position is 100% REMOTE.
Requirements of the Principal Architect:
- Develop, maintain, and champion an enterprise-wide Data & Integration Architecture roadmap.
- Align IT strategy and solutions with business objectives.
- Provide strategic consultation on technology-based solutions.
- Present architectural concepts with compelling qualitative and quantitative findings.
- Create and manage a data, integrations, and applications roadmap.
- Develop and oversee Technical Reference Architectures, ensuring quality and security standards.
- Monitor and manage Technical Debt in the IT environment.
- Assist with Data Governance leadership, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Analyze IT environments to identify deficiencies and propose solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance.
- Mentor team members and enhance IT department maturity.
- Continuously evolve Data & Integration architecture based on emerging technologies.
Qualifications of the Principal Architect:
- 10+ years of experience with Enterprise Applications, Integrations, Databases, and Cloud environments.
- 5+ years in an architect or technical leadership role.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud governance.
- Advanced understanding of Cloud-based Systems Integration, Data Security, and Architecture Governance.
- Extensive experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
- Proficiency in data modeling (UML, ArchiMate, ERDs).
- Experience in Healthcare provider platforms (ASC) and HL7/FHIR standards.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and data protection.
- Mastery of TOGAF framework (certification preferred).
- Experience with risk management methodologies for integrations and software engineering.
- Knowledge of SDLC processes, architectural patterns, and development frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain data quality standards.
- Proven success in enterprise-wide architecture frameworks and business strategy alignment.
- Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions diligence and integrations (desirable).
Compensation:
- Salary: $120,000 - $170,000, depending on experience plus an annual bonus.
