Piper Companies is seeking a Program Manager for a long term- remote contract opportunity to join an established Healthcare Organization. The The Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) Program across a 6-hospital health system, managing external partnerships, and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Responsibilities of Disaster Recovery Program Leader:
- Program & Project Leadership: Develop and manage the ITDR project plan, coordinate efforts across teams, and oversee the program budget.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Liaise with external partners for ITDR solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Governance & Executive Communication: Provide status reports and risk assessments to leadership, and ensure program alignment with broader risk management initiatives.
- ITDR Content Development & Testing: Develop ITDR documentation, support testing and training, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications for the Disaster Recovery Program Leader:
- Experience in IT disaster recovery or business continuity programs, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong project management skills with experience in large-scale technology initiatives.
- Expertise in vendor and partner management.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and NIST frameworks.
- Proficiency in risk management and executive-level reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Continuity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Industry certifications (e.g., CBCP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.
Compensation for the Disaster Recovery Program Leader:
- Hourly Rate: $80-$90 per hour ***depending on experience***
