Business Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a reputable insurance company for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is hybrid, requiring one (1) day on-site in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the bridge between IT, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Gather, refine, and document technical and business requirements for system updates.
• Create user-centered documentation such as wireframes, process flows, and functional specs.
• Contribute to system planning, setup, and design discussions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in a STEM or Business, or equivalent professional experience.
• Background in Business Analysis within Commercial P&C (property and casualty) insurance (could consider auto insurance experience).
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
• Experience with policy admin tools/platforms (required).
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs.
• Bonus: working knowledge of XML and JSON.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
