Piper Companies is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for a Biopharmaceutical company located in Durham, NC. The Manufacturing Associate will be integral to the production team to ensure the efficient operations of manufacturing equipment and adherence to quality standards. The Manufacturing Associate will need to work on-site 5 days per week in Durham, NC and will need to be able to work a 2-2-3 schedule (Both 1st and 2nd shifts available). This is a contract-to-hire position.
Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Associate:
- Operate and monitor biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to equipment as needed.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to uphold product quality.
- Accurately document production processes, maintain thorough records, and report deviations when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance productivity.
Requirements of the Manufacturing Associate:
- Strong understanding of GMP guidelines and SOPs.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to dynamic production needs.
- Possession of one of the following certifications:
- BTEC Certificate
- Bioworks Certification
- Gowning Certification
Compensation for the Manufacturing Associate:
- $20.00-$30.00/ hour
- Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if required by law.
