HVAC SME (Pharmaceutical)

Piper Companies is currently seeking an experienced HVAC SME to support the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems for a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Bloomington, Indiana.

Responsibilities for the HVAC SME

• Provide technical oversight of HVAC and environmental systems supporting cleanrooms and GMP spaces

• Review HVAC designs, drawings, and control strategies (including BMS integration)

• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification activities

• Ensure compliance with GMP, GEP, ISO cleanroom standards, and safety requirements

• Collaborate with design, construction, and CQV teams to ensure HVAC readiness

Qualifications for the HVAC SME

• 3+ years of HVAC experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments

• Strong knowledge of cleanroom HVAC, air change rates, pressure cascades, and filtration

• Experience with commissioning and validation of HVAC systems

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred

Compensation for the HVAC SME

• Salary: Commensurate with experience

• Long Term Contract (strong potential for extension)
