Manufacturing Associate

Piper Companies is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for an onsite contract position in Durham, North Carolina (NC). The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for overseeing the creation and management of batch records to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and processes as well as supporting regular manufacturing operations and scaling of cGMP manufacturing.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Associate include:

• Full GMP training program with classroom and hands-on shadowing with experienced operators
• One-on-one mentoring through SOPs, equipment operation, and quality systems
• Gradual progression from basic tasks to more complex operations
• Cross-training opportunities across different manufacturing areas
• Provide support to operators in running equipment and perform necessary operations.
• Assist with schedule adjustments in the absence of a Senior Manufacturing Associate.
• Support up to but not limited to multiple areas of GMP production as needed.
• Use VEEVA VAULT for documentation and record-keeping.

Qualifications for the Manufacturing Associate include:

• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in SAP, Veeva QMS, CMMS strongly preferred
• Experience in MS word, excel is required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with gowning procedures and GMP regulations.
• BS, or MS a plus, in Life Sciences or Engineering required.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $25-$30 /hour
