Piper Companies is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a top biotechnology company in Durham, NC.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
· Plan and execute company functions, meetings, and conferences, including selecting venues, arranging catering, and managing event logistics.
- Oversee calendars and coordinate appointments and meetings for executives and team members to maximize productivity.
- Arrange travel logistics such as flights, lodging, and ground transportation, ensuring alignment with budget constraints.
- Handle routine administrative responsibilities including document filing, data management, correspondence, and inventory of office supplies.
- Serve as a communication bridge between departments, promoting effective information flow and timely completion of follow-up tasks.
Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant:
· 1+ years of professional experience working as an Administrative Assistant
· Experience with planning corporate events, calendar management, and communicating with vendors
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Associates degree in related field
Compensation of the Administrative Assistant:
· Salary: Between $20.00 - $25.00/hr based on years of experience
· Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (through Cigna), 401k, Sick leave as required by law
