Piper Companies is looking for a Application Support Technician III to join a software consulting and integration organization. This position is onsite in New Castle, DE.


 Essential Duties of the Application Support Technician III:

  • Serve as a Level 3 Application Support resource, solving complex issues
  • Perform detailed log analysis and troubleshooting of application-hardware interactions
  • Research and analyze the functions of a wide variety of refinery applications, including dependencies on other systems
  • Assist with provisioning, deployment, upgrading, and migration of application software

 

Qualifications of the Application Support Technician III:

  • 5+ years of experience specific to the oil refinery industry
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Experience with technologies including but not limited to: Honeywell Experion PKS, AspenTech Software Suite, SAP PM/MM, OSIsoft PI System, Emerson DeltaV, AVEVA & Hexagon PPM Applications


 Compensation for the Application Support Technician III:

  • $100,000 - $125,000 + $10,000 annual bonus potential (based on experience)
