Full Stack Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to work a hybrid schedule in Durham, NC for an Insurance company that specializes in retirement solutions. As a Full Stack Software Engineer your day-to-day includes applying REST APIs and application UIs, ensuring software efficiency, and contributing your knowledge of Node and React to the team.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Engineer include:

·      Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and intuitive user interfaces that support seamless user experiences and business functionality.

·      Monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance speed and efficiency.

·      Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and technical issues across the stack.

Qualifications for the Splunk Architect include:

·      2–5 years of experience building and maintaining full stack applications in a professional setting.

·      Comfortable working with backend technologies like Node.js or Java (8+), and confident writing SQL for relational databases.

·      Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks, preferably ReactJS and TypeScript.

·      A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Compensation for the Splunk Architect includes:

·      Salary: $82,000 – $120,000 annually

·      Competitive bonus plan

·      Hybrid schedule – 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
