Systems Engineer

Piper Companies is currently looking for an Systems Engineer in the Columbia, MD area to work for an established healthcare provider to design, implement and maintain infrastructure technologies and services.

Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer:

• Act as Third Tier support within the Enterprise Operations group to resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop KBAs to help address further cases.
• Collaborate with other System engineers and Solution Architects to design solutions.
• Provide guidance to team members on technical matters.
• Operate as a thought leader for core technical competencies.

Qualifications for the Systems Engineer:

• 6+ years experience with Windows Server, Exchange Server and Active Directory
• On-prem/hybrid experience required
• Strong experience with PKI infrastructure and certificate management required
• Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years experience in the field preferred

Compensation for the Systems Engineer:

• Salary Range: $100,000-120,000 (depending on experience)
• Hybrid work schedule; 2 days a week onsite
