Senior Analyst – Systems and Financial Projects

Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Senior Analyst – Systems and Financial Projects to join a transformative finance and accounting team. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in the administration, optimization, and transformation of financial systems, supporting the transition to a consolidated ERP platform and driving process improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities of the Senior Analyst – Systems and Financial Projects include:

• Lead and support the transition from legacy ERP systems to a new consolidated ERP solution
• Administer financial systems, including user setup, role maintenance, and system configurations
• Coordinate monthly system tasks such as FX loading and module closings
• Evaluate and test system patches and enhancements in collaboration with technical teams
• Gather and document business requirements and process flows; assist in Fit/Gap analyses
• Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures and workflow diagrams
• Monitor RAID logs and proactively mitigate project risks
• Lead user acceptance testing and ensure all exit criteria are met
• Consolidate and validate large datasets for historical clean-up and conversions
• Monitor financial exception reports and support ongoing system improvements

Qualifications for the Senior Analyst – Systems and Financial Projects:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial systems or project-based roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visio is required
• Strong understanding of project management cycles and financial systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Experience implementing or supporting finance systems is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or IT (with an accounting focus

Compensation for the Senior Analyst – Systems and Financial Projects:

• Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
