Telecommunications Mechanic

Piper Companies is looking for a Telecommunications Mechanic to join a DoD government contractor. This is a full-time job based in either Everett, WA or Whidbey Island, WA.

 Essential Duties of the Telecommunications Mechanic:

• Operate and maintain government-owned telephony switches.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of switches.
• Perform software updates and patching.
• Perform installation and configuration of switch hardware.

Qualifications of the Telecommunications Mechanic:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
• 2-5+ years of related experience in telecom and fiber optics.
• Experience with Avaya systems highly preferred.
• IAT Level II certs highly preferred.

Compensation for the Telecommunications Mechanic:

• $70,000 to $85,000 (based on experience)
