Sr. Application Developer - MDM

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Application Developer (Master Data Management) for an established financial organization. This is a full-time/direct hire opportunity. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site in either Charlotte, NC, Fort Wayne, IN, Greensboro, NC, or Radnor, PA).

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support MDM solutions in a Talend environment.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive data quality initiatives.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex data systems.

• Develop scripts and automation for data processing and system maintenance.

• Support Agile development cycles and contribute to process improvements.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in application or data development.

• Proficiency in Talend (or similar ETL/MDM tools), SQL, Java, Unix shell scripting.

• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, EMR, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

• Experience with REST APIs and Hadoop/HDFS.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Spark, Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Python, Presto SQL, Informatica, and AutoSys.

• Agile development experience.

Compensation:

·       Annual Salary: $140,000 plus bonus
