Remote IP Network Engineer - VoIP

Piper Companies is looking for a Remote IP Network Engineer – VoIP to join a cutting-edge technology team supporting a dedicated customer to lead lab-based testing and validation efforts in preparation for production deployments in a fully remote role working EST / CST hours.

Responsibilities for the Remote IP Network Engineer – VoIP

• Work hands-on in a customer lab environment to simulate and validate production changes.
• Act as a trusted technical representative with vendor-level access and privileges.
• Collaborate directly with the customer to document and test procedures before rollout.
• Engage with vendor support to troubleshoot and escalate issues.

Qualifications for the Remote IP Network Engineer – VoIP

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with a strong focus on IP networking.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Experience in VoIP environments is a strong plus
• Proven ability to write technical documentation and execute test cases in lab settings.
• Comfortable in customer-facing roles with excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation/Benefits for the Remote IP Network Engineer – VoIP

• Salary/rate range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave (if required by law), and Holidays
