Sr. DevOps Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a financial services organization located in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Sr. DevOps Engineer role requires 2 days onsite per month. A successful candidate for the Sr. DevOps Engineer will possess a strong background in automation and IAC.

Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer include:

• Provides System/DevOps best practices to influence design and implementation approaches and solutions
• Maintain and configure CI/CD plans, develop installation tools, configure and automate the deployment of new environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and create processes related to dev ops
• Lead, drive, and implement highly scalable and complex solutions in secure environment

Requirements for the DevOps Engineer include:

• Over 6 years of professional DevOps and systems engineering expeirence
•  Well versed within Linux
• Strong background in Ansible
• Understanding of containerization and experience with OpenShift is highly preferred  

Compensation of the Security Specialist – TS/SCI includes:

• $125,000 $140,000 annually with Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
