Piper Companies is hiring a Application Configuration Specialist for a healthcare company located in North Carolina. The Application Configuration Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert in their healthcare management software and be a bridge to IT, business units and vendor support. The Application Configuration Specialist can sit remote in North Carolina, but may need to travel to the office in Morrisville, NC occasionally.
Responsibilities of the Application Configuration Specialist:
- Configure & support applications—manage data, alerts, reports, and system modifications.
- Troubleshoot workflows & rule processing—analyze errors, suggest solutions, and improve efficiency.
- End-to-end testing—write and execute test scripts, debug issues, and ensure seamless functionality.
- Documentation & process improvement—maintain version control, update workflows, and enhance system clarity
Requirements of the Application Configuration Specialist:
- 5+ Years of experience in a technical role (Engineer, Analyst, etc)
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred: Bachelor's in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Technical Skills: Expert in T-SQL, SSRS, stored procedures, Visual Studio (2015+), XML, JSON, C#. Experience with SDLC, agile teams, and data analysis.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Compensation for the Application Configuration Specialist:
- $89,000 - $110,000 base salary
- Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
