Piper Companies is looking for a HR Manager to join an insurance provider based out of Frederick, MD. This is a direct hire opportunity, requiring the candidate to go onsite 3 times a week.
Essential Duties of the HR Manager:
- Recommend and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive organizational culture
- Continuously review and update the new hire orientation program
- Research HR topics and review relevant legislation to assess business impact. Analyze and implement compliance changes as assigned
- Continuous evaluation and update of the employee handbook and manager resource guide to ensure adherence to applicable state and federal laws and regulations
Qualifications of the HR Manager:
- Bachelors in human resources preferred but not required
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred
- 3+ years leading programs and projects in one or more of the following areas: employee experience, employee engagement, employee journey management, organizational development, design thinking
- 3+ years human resources experience from hire to retire
- Dayforce HCM experience is a plus
Compensation for the HR Manager:
- $95,000 - $105,000 (based on experience)
