Utility Equipment Operator

We are seeking an experienced Utility Equipment Operator with hands-on expertise supporting utility systems in a manufacturing or production environment. Pharmaceutical experience is not required—ideal candidates have worked with boilers, chillers, or similar process systems and understand equipment fundamentals in a high-compliance setting.

Responsibilities of the Utility Equipment Operator:

• Operate equipment and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for GMP and non-GMP systems
• Identify and document operational anomalies; support resolution efforts to minimize downtime
• Maintain operational standards for automated and manually controlled utility systems
• Support the operation and maintenance of control platforms such as BMS, PCS, and Life Safety systems
• Execute raw material offloading and movement into process systems
• Conduct site rounds and routine equipment inspections to ensure performance and compliance
• Participate in systematic problem-solving initiatives and process optimization
• Manage individual training compliance and documentation
• Review electronic batch records in real time to ensure SOP and cGMP adherence
• Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Perform routine cleaning and ensure good housekeeping in assigned areas
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Utility Equipment Operator:

• Experience operating utility/process equipment in a production environment
• Working knowledge of systems such as centrifugal pumps, boilers, heat exchangers, and chillers
• Familiarity with safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Compensation of the Utility Equipment Operator:

• Compensation: $42.00 – $46.00 per hour
• Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and sick leave as required by law
