Senior Medical Technologist

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Medical Technologist for a well-known CRO located in Farmingdale, New York (NY). The Senior Medical Technologist will be responsible for performing and analyzing laboratory tests to support clinical research, ensuring quality control, regulatory compliance, and accurate data reporting in a fast-paced lab environment. The Senior Medical Technologist will need to sit on-site five days a week in Farmingdale, NY.

Responsibilities of the Senior Medical Technologist:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
• Lead and manage project teams to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster professional growth.

Qualifications for the Senior Medical Technologist:

• 7+ years of relative experience.
• Valid New York State license as a Medical Laboratory Scientist is mandatory.
• Preferred ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Specialist.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and quality control procedures.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory or research environment is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related.

Compensation for the Senior Medical Technologist:

• Salary Range: $55-$56/hour (bonus eligible)
