MasterData Senior Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Application Developer with Master Data Management competence to work for an established financial organization.

This is a salaried, direct hire opportunity. This role is hybrid and successful candidates will have the option to work out of offices located in Fort Wayne, IN, Charlotte, NC, Greensboro, NC, or Radnor, PA

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support MDM solutions in a Talend environment.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive data quality initiatives.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex data systems.

• Develop scripts and automation for data processing and system maintenance.

• Support Agile development cycles and contribute to process improvements.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in application or data development.

• Proficiency in Talend (or similar ETL/MDM tools), SQL, Java, Unix shell scripting.

• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, EMR, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

• Experience with REST APIs and Hadoop/HDFS.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Spark, Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Python, Presto SQL, Informatica, and AutoSys.

• Agile development experience.

Compensation:

·       Annual Salary: $140,000 with bonus
