Senior Product Manager – Personal Loans

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Personal Loans to join a leading financial services organization. This role is critical in driving the growth, expansion, and strategic planning of the personal loan business, with a strong focus on market development, portfolio optimization, and cross-functional execution. This position is hybrid in Mclean, VA!

Responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager – Personal Loans include:

• Develop and implement growth strategies to expand the personal loan business across new customer segments, geographies, and distribution channels
• Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and industry research to identify trends and opportunities for expansion
• Evaluate new product offerings, pricing models, and partnerships to enhance the portfolio’s reach and profitability
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
• Define and track key KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets
• Partner with credit risk, marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize the customer journey and improve conversion rates
• Leverage data analytics and insights to refine strategies, improve underwriting efficiency, and enhance portfolio profitability

Qualifications for the Senior Product Manager – Personal Loans:

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, or product management within personal loans, consumer lending, or financial services
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a proven track record in driving growth and expansion
• Deep understanding of credit risk, lending economics, customer acquisition, and retention strategies
• Experience with market research, data analytics, and competitive intelligence
• Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to execute complex initiatives
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, or other analytics tools is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred

Compensation for the Senior Product Manager – Personal Loans:

• Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Holidays
