BMET (I, II, & III)

Piper Companies is seeking Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMET) for a healthcare organization in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of imaging equipment, including CT and MRI machines.
• Work with imaging systems from leading manufacturers such as Siemens, GE, and Philips.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance and patient safety.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support diagnostic imaging operations.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Siemens, GE, and/or Philips imaging equipment is required.
• Hands-on experience with core imaging systems, particularly CT and MRI machines.
• BMET certification or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Open to candidates at BMET Imaging Technician levels I, II, and III.
  • Level I - 1-2 years of experience
  • Level II - 2-5 years of experience
  • Level III – 5+ years of experience, CBET

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $28-45/hr (depending on experience level)
