Compensation: $55–$70/hour based on experience

About the Opportunity

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong Instructional Design background to support an accelerated global GxP training development and content update initiative within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

This is a highly collaborative role responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of 8 interactive GxP training modules across 5 languages, working closely with a team of 6 Instructional Designers and global stakeholders.

The successful candidate will bring both strong project management capabilities and hands-on instructional design knowledge. This person will be responsible for keeping the team aligned to an aggressive timeline, coordinating reviews across countries, managing dependencies, and helping ensure all training content is completed on schedule.

The project has a firm completion target of December 31, 2026, making strong timeline management, communication, and proactive issue resolution essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities for the development and update of global GxP training content.
• Manage a team of 6 Instructional Designers responsible for developing and coding interactive eLearning modules.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and priorities.
• Coordinate the development of 8 GxP training modules across 5 languages, resulting in approximately 40 localized training modules.
• Support the development of interactive, scenario-based eLearning experiences and assessments.
• Ensure training modules incorporate assessments with an 80% passing requirement.
• Coordinate the localization and review process across multiple countries and languages.
• Lead and facilitate in-country reviews, ensuring local stakeholders have appropriate opportunities to review and provide feedback.
• Identify and proactively address timeline risks, particularly delays associated with in-country review and approval.
• Coordinate communication between Instructional Designers, global stakeholders, subject matter experts, and in-country reviewers.
• Support onboarding and coordination of the 6 Instructional Designers assigned to the project.
• Provide guidance and direction around instructional design, training content development, knowledge transfer, and knowledge retention.
• Ensure project activities remain aligned with the aggressive December 31, 2026 completion target.
• Facilitate meetings across multiple global time zones and maintain clear communication with a globally based manager and project stakeholders.
• Provide project status updates, identify risks and roadblocks, and drive timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program management experience, preferably supporting training, learning, or instructional design initiatives.
• Strong Instructional Design background and experience with training content development.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate 360 is required.
• Experience developing or managing interactive eLearning and scenario-based learning.
• Experience developing assessments and knowledge-retention activities.
• Experience managing teams of Instructional Designers or similar learning/content development professionals.
• Working knowledge of GxP and/or GMP environments required.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of training development, knowledge transfer, and knowledge retention.
• Proven ability to manage aggressive timelines and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating global stakeholders and in-country review processes preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable working with teams across multiple time zones.
• Must be willing to accommodate occasional meetings outside of standard U.S. Eastern Time business hours to support global collaboration.
