Senior Electrical/Project Management Engineer

Piper Health & Sciences is hiring a Senior Electrical/Project Management Engineer with 8-10 + years of MEP experience to join a well-respected consulting firm that delivers mission-critical projects across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

This full-time hybrid role offers flexible hours (core working hours being 9 AM–3 PM), paid overtime, and clear paths for growth at a company that is intentional about investing in its people and promoting from within.

Responsibilities for the Senior Electrical/Project Management Engineer Include:

• Reports to Principal Engineer
• Lead electrical system design for complex buildings (power, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage)
• Oversee drawings, specs, and load calculations to meet codes and standards
• Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams for integrated MEP solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work
• Engage with clients acting as a consultant to present designs, resolve issues, and support business development
• Ensure quality and stay on schedule and budget

Qualifications for the Senior Electrical/Project Management Engineer Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE preferred; BSME/BSAE considered)
• PE license required, LEED certification is a plus
• 8-10+ years of MEP experience in a consulting or architectural engineering environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, NEC, and industry standards
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage design teams, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Compensation for the Senior Electrical/Project Management Engineer Includes:

• Salary range: approx. $85,000 - $105,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Annual bonuses + merit-based raises
