Piper Companies is seeking an Inside Sales Support Engineer, to join one of the leading providers of high-quality equipment. The Inside Sales Support Engineer will support outside sales teams by managing technical inquiries, generating leads, and ensuring smooth customer interactions to help the sales team focus on strategic goals.
Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Support Engineer include:
- Strong technical knowledge of membrane technologies, reverse osmosis systems, and related components to provide accurate support and guidance to customers.
- Excellent communication skills to serve as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries and collaborate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
- Experience with CRM systems to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Ability to prepare detailed sales documentation, including proposals and quotations, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Lead qualification and routing skills to identify viable opportunities and direct them appropriately within the sales team.
Qualifications for the Inside Sales Support Engineer include:
- 3+ years of experience in inside or technical sales, ideally within water treatment or membrane technology industries.
- Proven ability to professionally handle inbound inquiries, build rapport with clients, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in using CRM platforms to manage customer data, track sales activities, and support pipeline development.
- Ability to quickly grasp and communicate complex product specifications, especially related to membrane systems and reverse osmosis technologies.
- Experience preparing detailed sales proposals, quotations, and technical documentation to support the sales process.
Compensation for the Inside Sales Support Engineer include:
- Salary: $67,000 - $81,000
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
