Piper Companies is seeking a Personal Trust Officer to join a well-established financial trust company providing client focused trust and administration services. Located in West Palm Beach, FL.
Responsibilities of the Personal Trust Officer include:
• Manage the daily administration of trust accounts, ensuring accurate account setup, required documentation, and compliance with governing documents and state regulations
• Perform regular account reviews to confirm accurate asset classification, tax reporting, and adherence to trust provisions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, beneficiaries, financial advisors, and investment teams to ensure responsive, high-quality service
• Identify and resolve complex trust and tax issues, consulting with management or internal resources when needed
• Exercise sound fiduciary judgment in reviewing new business opportunities and participating in trust-related committees
• Contribute to client retention and business development efforts by recognizing opportunities to expand services within client base
• Stay informed on fiduciary and trust laws applicable to Florida to ensure compliant administration and risk management for all assigned accounts
Qualifications for the Personal Trust Officer include:
• 5-7 years of personal trust administration experience
• Manages detailed transactional tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing client and partner service
• Collaborates across functional areas to achieve objectives while maintaining a big-picture orientation
• Understands various investment types and strategies, interpreting and applying policies accurately
• Exercises independent judgment in non-routine decisions, escalates complex issues appropriately, and communicates effectively at all levels while remaining active in professional organizations
• Bachelor’s degree required; CTFA certification preferred
Compensation for the Personal Trust Officer includes:
• Salary: $140,000k/yr
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
