Senior Manager - Bioanalytical Services

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Manager - Bioanalytical Services to join a leading clinical research organization dedicated to driving innovation in diagnostic medicine. This is an onsite role, in Lenexa, KS. This full-time role offers an opportunity to lead scientific and operational activities for regulated LC-MS/MS bioanalytical studies, overseeing method development, validation, and sample analysis while managing a high-performing laboratory team to ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manager - Bioanalytical Services include:

• Lead daily operations of a regulated LC-MS/MS bioanalytical laboratory, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of client studies.
• Oversee method development, validation, and sample analysis for a range of analytes including small molecules, peptides, and oligonucleotides.
• Serve as the primary scientific and operational contact for clients, supporting study design, troubleshooting, and technical discussions.
• Ensure adherence to GLP, GCP, and global regulatory standards, partnering with quality teams to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering professional development, scientific excellence, and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications for the Senior Manager - Bioanalytical Services include:

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in regulated LC-MS/MS bioanalysis, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong technical expertise in quantitative LC-MS/MS methods and chromatographic techniques within a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high scientific and quality standards.
• Preferred experience with laboratory automation, LIMS, and electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs). 

Compensation for the Senior Manager - Bioanalytical Services:

• Salary Range: $68,000-$85,000 USD/year
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
