Remote Prisma Access Consultant

Piper Companies is seeking a Prisma Access SME Consultant to join a leading professional services firm. The Prisma Access SME Consultant will be responsible for providing expert-level support and consultation on Prisma Access products and services.

Responsibilities of the Prisma Access SME Consultant include:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all licensed Prisma Access products/features/services.
• Understand Client Environments: Analyze customer infrastructure, security requirements, and roadmaps to tailor Prisma Access solutions.
• Implement and Configure Security Solutions: Set up and maintain Palo Alto’s Security Operating Platform, including Prisma Access, Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), Panorama, and GlobalProtect.
• Policy Optimization and Migration: Migrate and optimize security policies and objects from legacy systems to Palo Alto’s platforms.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with Palo Alto’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to resolve complex support cases.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with client security and network teams to ensure smooth transitions and build trust across business unit.

Qualifications for the Prisma Access SME Consultant include:

• Networking & Security Expertise: Deep knowledge of BGP, SD-WAN, VXLAN, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto Tools: Experience with Panorama, log collectors, NGFW, and GlobalProtect.
• Cloud & Automation: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (e.g., Python).
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCNA, CNSE, or JNCIE-SEC.
• Experience: Typically 5+ years in network/security roles, with at least 3 years in large-scale security solution deployments

Compensation for the Prisma Access SME Consultant includes:

• Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
