Project Engineer/Project Manager

Piper Companies is seeking an Project Engineer, to join one of the leading providers of high-quality equipment. The Project Engineer will support membrane treatment projects by managing proposals, vendors, and technical documentation for reverse osmosis systems.

Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include:

• Design and specify components for reverse osmosis and membrane systems, applying strong engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Develop and manage project proposals, including cost estimates and bid documentation.
• Coordinate project schedules and collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Oversee vendor interactions—requesting quotes, reviewing proposals, and selecting cost-effective components.
• Support equipment installation and start-up, including on-site supervision, performance testing, and operator training.

Qualifications for the Project Engineer include:  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated team player with a proactive mindset and a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.

Compensation for the Project Engineer include:

• Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
