Integration Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an Integration Engineer to join a leading healthcare information organization. This is a fully REMOTE, contract-to-hire opportunity (EST preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage data integrations with external partners.
• Lead new customer integration efforts from setup to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing data connections.
• Monitor data flow and support internal teams with integration insights.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or information systems, preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of work experience in healthcare technology.
• 1 to 4 years of experience with healthcare integrations, required.
• Working knowledge of Mirth Connect, JavaScript, HL7v2, and HL7.
• Experience with Python, a plus.

Compensation/Benefits for the Automation Engineer include:

• Target Conversion Salary: $90,000-$115,000 annually depending on experience
• Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, 6 paid holidays, sick leave as required by law, bonus eligibility
