Biostatistician

Piper Companies is partnering with a fast-growing biotech company to hire a Biostatistician to support clinical development programs. This is a full-time opportunity with flexible remote or on-site options based on the East Coast. The Biostatistician will contribute statistical expertise to clinical trial design, analysis, and regulatory submissions, working cross-functionally with program stakeholders and internal teams.

Responsibilities of the Biostatistician include:

• Provide statistical input for the design and analysis of clinical trials and development plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver statistical deliverables and support regulatory submissions
• Report to a franchise team leader within the Biostatistics and Statistical Modelling organization
• Ensure statistical processes align with company guidelines and regulatory standards

Qualifications for the Biostatistician include:

• Master’s degree (required) or Ph.D. in Statistics or related field
• 5+ years of experience in biostatistics (including doctoral research)
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R
• Strong understanding of statistical applications in clinical trials and drug development
• Ability to clearly communicate complex statistical concepts in English
• Experience working autonomously and collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of eCRT and Define standards
• Experience leading cross-functional projects
• Therapeutic area experience in immunology
• Familiarity with regulatory submissions and modern statistical design approaches
• Proactive communication and stakeholder engagement

Compensation for the Biostatistician:

Salary: $70-$75/hr

Benefits: Full suite including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and sick leave as required by law
