Piper Companies is hiring a Signal Integrity Engineer for a world wide technology company located in Raleigh, NC. The Signal Integrity Engineer will need to have strong experience in electromagnetic simulation, signal analysis, and electrical design validation. The Signal Integrity Engineer will need to sit on site 5 days per week in Raleigh, NC and is a long term contract opportunity.
Responsibilities of the Signal Integrity Engineer:
- Conduct signal integrity analysis for high-speed digital and RF circuits
- Perform electromagnetic simulations using CST, Ansys HFSS, and related tools
- Develop and validate transmission line models and SERDES transceiver simulations
- Execute analog, digital, and mixed-signal simulation for design optimization
- Utilize IBIS, SPICE, and AMI models for timing validation and signal analysis
- Collaborate with PCB layout engineers and system architects to ensure signal performance
- Perform power integrity analysis across DC and AC domains
Requirements of the Signal Integrity Engineer:
- 2–3 years hands-on SI hardware design experience
- BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- Strong foundation in EM theory, simulation tools, and DSP concepts
- Familiarity with EDA tools: Cadence, Ansys, Keysight, Mathworks
- Skilled in IBIS/SPICE/AMI modeling and timing validation
Compensation for the Signal Integrity Engineer:
- $70,000 - $88,500
