Piper Companies is hiring an Sr. UC Network Engineer- Secret- Scott Air Force for a Cloud and Technology company located at Scott Air Force Base, IL. The Sr. UC Network Engineer- Secret- Scott Air Force role is an onsite position located at the Scott Air Force Base, IL.

Responsibilities of the Sr. UC Network Engineer- Secret- Scott Air Force Include:

• Serve as the trusted technical advisor to customers, providing guidance on network, collaboration, and infrastructure strategies while supporting mission-critical operations.
• Lead the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise networking environments, including Layer 1, Layer 2, routing, switching, and spanning tree technologies.
• Manage and maintain enterprise Unified Communications environments, including call management, messaging, presence, voice gateways, PSTN connectivity, and gateway protocols.
• Develop, implement, and support network security solutions, including firewall policies, high-availability configurations, and secure communications architectures.
• Perform lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, patching, maintenance, and optimization of networking, collaboration, and infrastructure platforms.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, technical leadership, and escalation support for complex network, voice, and infrastructure issues while mentoring team members and supporting customer success.

Qualifications of the Sr. UC Network Engineer- Secret- Scott Air Force include:

• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance required.
• Ability to work onsite four (4) days per week at Scott Air Force Base, IL.
• Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise networking and Unified Communications environments, including Call Manager and Jabber.
• Strong background in Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking, routing and switching, spanning tree, firewall policy management, gateway protocols, PSTN connectivity, and enterprise UC solutions.
• CCIE Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or equivalent advanced networking/collaboration certification preferred.
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and lead complex technical initiatives in secure enterprise environments.

Compensation for the Sr. UC Network Engineer- Secret- Scott Air Force include:

• $140,000-$160,000 annually
