Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Manager, Process Intelligence & Orchestration to join one of the nation’s premier credit unions based in Mclean, Virginia. The Sr. Manager will be a technical role focusing on speed of change, reusability, reliability, and transparency across workflows, data consumption, and third-party data integration. This position will be hybrid in Mclean, VA!
Responsibilities of the Sr. Manager, Process Intelligence & Orchestration include:
- Design and maintain best-in-class architecture for consumer originations, collections, and account management aligned with Consumer Banking vision.
- Demonstrate expert-level process intelligence and design, including feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- Recommend tools and architecture to model, monitor, and analyze the processing environment.
- Author and maintain deployment architecture and processes following best practices.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to develop visualizations of processing KPIs such as speed, completion, and abandonment.
- Extend decisioning capabilities into areas like account management and collections.
- Manage relationships with internal teams and external vendors, including software providers and credit bureaus.
- Provide technical support for operational issues in decisioning systems and recommend enhancements.
- Work closely with Product teams to translate requirements into technical design and process improvements.
Qualifications for the Sr. Manager, Process Intelligence & Orchestration include:
- 12+ years of experience in process orchestration and optimization development.
- 4+ years of domain architecture experience.
- 6+ years of direct management experience.
- Experience with consumer lending credit systems strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and GUI-based development tools.
- Deep knowledge of processing and case management software (e.g., Outsystems, Salesforce).
- Familiarity with process monitoring and measurement tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics required; Master’s degree preferred.
Compensation for the Sr. Manager, Process Intelligence & Orchestration includes:
- Salary: $180,000 – $200,000
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Holidays
