Systems/Solutions Architect - End User Computing (EUC)

Piper Companies is seeking a seasoned Systems Architect – End User Computing to lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of endpoint technologies for one of the most innovative healthcare organizations in Columbia, Maryland. Operating on a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite), this role ensures secure, scalable, and user-friendly technology environments across hardware, software, and cloud-based EUC solutions.

Responsibilities of the Systems Architect – End User Computing Include:

• Oversee around 10,000 Chromebooks and 4,500 windows laptops used by 35,000 clinical workers servicing patients remotely out in the field (in patient homes).
• Architect and manage endpoint technologies (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Chromebooks)
• Lead hardware builds, OS imaging, and software distribution
• Administer MDM platforms and hybrid/cloud EUC environments
• Automate deployment tasks using scripting tools
• Ensure compliance with security standards (HITRUST, NIST, OWASP)
• Collaborate with Agile and Waterfall teams across SDLC
• Communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Lead and mentor in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Qualifications of the Systems Architect – End User Computing Include:

• Direct experience managing mobile fleets and geolocation-based policies.
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or 10+ years in tech business
• 7+ years in endpoint management leadership
• Expertise in Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365
• Strong MDM experience (Android, iOS, Chromebook)
• Skilled in cloud/hybrid EUC solutions
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
• Familiar with security frameworks and standards
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Fluent in English; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation of the Systems Architect – End User Computing Includes:

• Salary range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually, with merit-based bonuses.
