Piper Companies is seeking an Analyst - Deposit Data, to support a top-tier credit union headquartered in McLean, VA. The Analyst - Deposit Data will deliver actionable insights by collaborating with data teams to acquire, transform, and visualize data, supporting strategic and daily decision-making across all lending product areas.
Responsibilities of the Analyst - Deposit Data include:
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Business Objects to support operational monitoring and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze complex business data using SQL and Excel to identify trends, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure consistent performance measurement across multiple sources.
- Collaborate with business units to evaluate campaign performance across various channels—including digital, mobile, and in-branch—providing actionable insights to optimize outreach strategies.
- Conduct competitive and industry analysis to assess the organization’s market position and inform strategic planning.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, data-driven recommendations for leadership, supporting both tactical initiatives and long-term business goals.
Qualifications for the Analyst - Deposit Data include:
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics related to credit card and consumer lending products, with a focus on marketing performance, statistical evaluation, and portfolio insights within financial services.
- Proficient in SQL, Tableau, R, and Python, with hands-on experience managing and analyzing large datasets to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Skilled in statistical techniques including A/B testing, forecasting, and time series analysis, with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions and support data-backed decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of clearly conveying complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Engineering, providing a strong foundation for data-driven analysis and reporting.
Compensation for the Analyst - Deposit Data include:
- Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
