Sr. Cyber Security Endpoint Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Endpoint Engineer to join an established healthcare organization for a contract to hire opportunity. This position is 100% remote, but requires you to be able to commute to Center City Philadelphia once every 4 months. The Senior Cyber Security Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for engineering and managing advanced endpoint security systems to protect organizational digital infrastructure, ensuring the safety of sensitive data and enabling secure business operations.

Responsibilities of the Senior Cyber Security Endpoint Engineer:

• Design, implement, and manage endpoint security controls to prevent, detect, and respond to threats.
• Develop secure configurations and monitoring systems for workstations, servers, mobile, medical, and IoT devices.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies for endpoint infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering and incident response teams to address endpoint-related security risks and incidents.
• Maintain and optimize security technologies including EDR, DLP, MDM, EPP, and encryption tools.

Qualifications for the Senior Cyber Security Endpoint Engineer:

• Proven experience in endpoint security engineering and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of security tools such as EDR, DLP, MDM, and application control.
• Ability to perform complex technical analysis and tier III support for endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with secure configuration practices, access controls, and system hardening.
• Experience conducting vulnerability scans and implementing remediation strategies.
• Skilled in automation and process improvement for security operations.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical teams.
• Understanding of IT environments and regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree

Compensation for the Senior Cyber Security Endpoint Engineer:

Hourly Rate: $60.0-$65.0
