ERP Technical Analyst

Piper Companies is partnering with a leading distributor leveraging Epicor Prophet 21 to hire an ERP Technical Analyst for a direct placement role. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive ERP innovation, support enterprise reporting, and collaborate across departments to optimize business operations. This position follows standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. While the role is remote, candidates must be based in North Carolina to be considered.

Responsibilities of the ERP Technical Analyst include:

• Manage, configure, and support Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system (version 2025.1).
• Develop, test, and deploy C# business rules and system customizations.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance.
• Build and maintain Azure Synapse Analytics datasets for enterprise reporting.
• Design and publish interactive Power BI dashboards for business users.
• Support and enhance Epicor Data Analyzer (EDA) for financial reporting and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to automate processes.
• Support integrations with Epicor QuickShip and Wireless Warehouse.
• Ensure data integrity across ERP and reporting systems.
• Demonstrate new supplier integration features to non-technical sales reps.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide user training.

Qualifications for the ERP Technical Analyst include:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in ERP or enterprise software support.
• Proficiency in C# development (business rules, scripts, system customization).
• Experience with any ERP system in a business environment (Epicor preferred).
• Strong experience writing SQL queries and working with SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
• Experience with API calls and Power Automate (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation for the ERP Technical Analyst:

• Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually
