IT Project Manager

Piper Companies is hiring a IT Project Manager for a manufacturing company located in Greensboro, NC. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating technology initiatives across the organization. The IT Project Manager is a contract opportunity and requires the candidate to be on site as needed in Greensboro, NC.  

***Candidates MUST reside in North Carolina***  

Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager: 

• Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met 
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and define project objectives 
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership 
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements 
• Evaluate and manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers 

Requirements of the IT Project Manager: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field 
• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in enterprise environments 
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies 
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello) 

Compensation for the IT Project Manager: 

• Salary Range: $156,000-166,000 
• Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
