Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master to join a trusted leader advancing the future of medicine for a full-time, remote contract position for 3 months located in EST, with the possibility of extensions/conversion based on performance. The Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master will lead Agile project delivery by facilitating ceremonies, managing workflows and dashboards, and collaborating across teams to drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master include:

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive team alignment and delivery.
• Stand up Kanban boards and implement process improvements for data and cross-functional teams.
• Build centralized ticket submission workflows and dashboards to support Editorial, Marketing, and Customer Support.
• Develop and maintain project planning tools including RACI matrices, velocity estimates, and Gantt charts using Jira and Smartsheet.
• Create and manage training materials for internal tools and platforms, ensuring clarity and adoption across teams.

Qualifications for the Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master include:

• Minimum 3 years of experience facilitating Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
• Strong proficiency in Jira setup, reporting, estimation, and workflow automation.
• Experience in story pointing, resource planning, and managing large-scale initiatives.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and translating business needs into actionable user stories.
• Flexible and pragmatic approach to Agile practices, with the ability to adapt to evolving team and project needs.

 Compensation for the Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master:

• Salary Range: $95,000-$108,000 USD/year
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
