Piper Companies is seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to work for a worldwide leader in the tech industry. The Hardware Engineer is a hybrid role helping to contribute to the development and optimization of FPGA-based systems.
Responsibilities of the Hardware Engineer include:
· Design, implement, and verify digital logic using Verilog for FPGA platforms.
· Develop and maintain FPGA firmware for custom hardware systems.
· Perform debugging and troubleshooting of hardware and firmware issues using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and simulation environments.
Qualifications for the Hardware Engineer include:
· Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
· Strong proficiency in Verilog and FPGA development (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera).
· Solid understanding of digital logic design, timing analysis, and hardware debugging techniques.
· Familiarity with hardware description languages, simulation tools, and version control systems.
Compensation for the Hardware Engineer includes:
· $100,000 - $130,000 with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law
